before & after: brick red empire dresser

One of our favorite styles of furniture is the empire and one of our favorite brands of paint is general finishes milk paint. It only seemed natural to put the two together when we found this beauty. I literally could NOT wait to start this one.

While out at garage sales, a neighbor saw a picture of this dresser and immediately placed a custom order. After consultation, she selected General Finishes Brick Red with a Java Gel stain top. This is one of my all time favorite transformations - check out the before and after!

Before & After:

She wanted a mix of old and new, so we added industrial knobs and beautiful fabric lined drawers. We fell in love!!

The mirror even had a gorgeous silvering - so much charm!
